OUR STORY

Welcome to Lafiya, a family farm with a rich history spanning generations.

What once served as a greyhound racing track, in 1961 Lafiya transitioned into a pig farm. After 14 years, the farm retired from its original purpose, gradually transforming into a small holding and homestead.

Today, while a smaller portion of the land remains, our family is dedicated to sustainable living. At Lafiya, we aim to increase biodiversity, improve local habitats and promote eco-conscious living. Through endeavors such as beekeeping, providing sanctuary to free-range rescue chickens, and countryside stewardship, we strive to make a positive impact on our environment.

In the spirit of our name, "Lafiya," which means health, we invite you to join us on this journey towards a healthier planet and a brighter future.

I love the honey and the eggs - they taste so much better than their bland equivalents sold in supermarkets. It’s also great to know that ecology and sustainability is central to this small business.
